I believe design, like poetry,
can heal the human experience.

I am a UX designer, creative director, and educator with experience transforming brands and human experiences through thoughtful design. I bridge technology, culture, and biophilic principles; believing that design, like poetry, can heal and reconnect us to the world.

I am Ender Emiroglu, a designer, educator, storyteller, and creative director with more than twenty-five years of experience in advertising, marketing, and communication design. My career began in Istanbul, where I worked with some of the world’s most respected agencies including Ogilvy, Grey, and Y&R. Over the years, I have helped shape brand stories for global icons such as Apple, Metu, Harley Davidson, VW, Coca-Cola, Turkish Airlines, Huawei, Sony Ericsson, Citibank, Pfizer, and Emirates. Through these collaborations, I learned that great design and communication are not only about persuasion but also about empathy, emotion, and human connection.

My path has always been guided by curiosity and a desire to bridge creativity with meaning. I moved from copywriting and creative direction into a multidisciplinary practice that integrates UX design, content strategy, and digital storytelling. I have led brand campaigns, designed websites, developed social media strategies, and written countless pieces of copy, all with the same purpose: to make messages feel alive and authentic. I believe technology should not distance us from emotion but deepen it.

As an educator, I am passionate about helping students connect theory to practice. I have taught and led workshops at universities such as Ferrum College, Ankara University, Istanbul Business School, and Galatasaray University, covering topics from creative writing and advertising copy to marketing communication and digital storytelling. My teaching philosophy is simple: learning should feel human, interactive, and connected to the real world. I encourage students to experiment, question conventions, and see creativity as both a process and a mindset.

Today, I live and work in the United States while pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Graphic Information Technology at Arizona State University, specializing in UX design and technical communication. I have also been accepted into ASU’s accelerated master’s program, where I continue exploring how design and technology can create more poetic, emotional, and meaningful user experiences.

One of my favorite projects, Cocosh Coffee, combines my love for culture, storytelling, and design. It is an AI-driven app that reimagines the ancient art of Turkish coffee fortune-telling, turning a traditional ritual into a modern, interactive experience. The project reflects my larger philosophy that technology can preserve culture, not erase it.

Beyond design and teaching, I am also a poet and artist. I have published four poetry books and exhibited work such as False Ceiling at Istanbul Modern Art Gallery. Writing and art have always been extensions of my creative identity, ways of exploring the emotional and philosophical layers that shape my approach to design.

I like to describe my work as humanbeing’s poetry design that feels human, poetic, emotional, and alive. Whether I am mentoring students, crafting brand identities, or building digital experiences, my goal remains the same: to remind people that creativity and technology are not opposites but partners in expressing what it means to be human.
